About Hayley
I graduated from Smith College with a degree in Biology in 2018. I am currently attending Northeastern Law School to get my JD in Environmental Law. I have lots of experience with curriculum development and enactment as well as childcare. I have spent two years as a substitute teacher for a variety of grades and subjects, including teaching high school environmental science and math. Previously, I've worked as an aide in a nature preschool, as a camp counselor and have overseen a camp of 120 students. I'm most interested in working with high school students on advanced subject matter relating to natural sciences but I also have experience teaching younger students. Additionally, I am happy to work with students on their reading and writing skills, essay editing etc. I have my CORI, SORI and finger print check. I am also first-aid and CPR certified and being CoVid tested every three days.

I like a very hands-on student-led approach, choosing to allow the student to dictate the ebb and flow of the lessons based on their needs. I prioritize quality over quantity and seek to find a good balance of work while still setting high expectations. My goal is to not only teach students in the subject matter but also to help them become stronger more independent learners.
