About Laura Marcela
I am a Biologist, I graduated in 2019 from the Pontifical Javeriana University. My experience in education starts from when I was in college. I was a monitor on two occasions for the subjects of Vertebrate Biology and Developmental Biology; with two different groups of first-semester biology students. There I had the opportunity to give advice and to teach certain classes. I have also taught classes of an hour or more to elementary and high school students in areas related to natural sciences.

My teaching techniques and methods are didactic and clear. With children under 15 years of age, I usually use different games or teaching materials that allow quick and clear learning of the topics to be worked on. With boys over 16 years of age I use a slightly more serious methodology but without leaving aside the didactic part, because I think that sometimes making analogies or comparing the themes with the events in the real world, allows them to open a little more the mind and understand the topics they are dealing with. With university students the work is usually a bit more serious but always very willing to answer any questions they may have. I am very patient, funny and responsible. The classes are always very entertaining and didactic and I try not to saturate the student with information, so I manage some very short active pauses or a break if necessary in order to carry the class as well as possible.
