I approach my teaching by beginning with small wins. First, we start at the building blocks of the topic and we paint an overall picture, like an artist! I am a firm believer in practice problems and active recall. My practice problems would be oriented in a way that guides the student through the topic in a way their brain can grasp onto the information tightly.
