-I have always loved learning!
-My teaching method is based off of personal experience; students learn best when they can apply the topic to the real world, when their teacher modifies teaching methods for each individual student, and (most important!) when they're having fun.
-It is important to find what the student personally relates to and finds interesting within the subject matter
-I like to incorporate stories, facts, and exciting methods into my teaching to engage students
-In addition, I have certifications as a Substitute Teacher, EMT, CNA, and Mental Health First Aid Provider
-I am a 2014 Colorado College graduate with degrees in Biology, Classics, and Pre-Medicine
-I have taught and tutored a broad range of subjects over the years including assisting in classes at Colorado College and teaching as a paraprofessional and substitute in the Colorado School District
-Most recently, I have taught middle and high school Math (6th-12th grade) and designed an Emergency Medicine Elective
-Historically, I also have experience with college prep (SAT, ACT) and have personally taken and scored well on the GRE and MCAT
