About Jasmine
Hi! I'm Jasmine, a recent graduate with an MSc in Cellular and Molecular Biology and a deep passion for making biology accessible, engaging, and enjoyable for students. While I’m new to formal tutoring, I’ve gained valuable experience volunteering in schools, where I supported students in understanding biology and improving their confidence in science. These experiences helped me develop a student-centred, encouraging approach to teaching – one that focuses on building strong foundations and sparking curiosity. I specialise in secondary school (Years 7–9) and GCSE Biology, Chemistry, and Maths, as well as A-level Biology. I am confident in explaining complex topics such as cell signalling, genetics, and molecular biology in a clear and relatable way. As someone who has recently completed their studies, I understand the challenges students face and how to overcome them with the right techniques – including active recall, visual learning aids, and real-world applications.
