About Nilsa
Students struggling with complex biological systems often feel overwhelmed by the density of the material. A blank stare at a Krebs cycle diagram is where many of my 80 students start before we begin our collaboration.
I earned my Doctor of Medicine from UC San Francisco School of Medicine to master these intricate processes. My work covers human anatomy, plant biology, scientific method, enzymes and metabolism, the nervous system, protein synthesis, lab report writing, data analysis and graphs, microbiology, food webs and energy flow. I guide these learners through the noise of medical curriculum requirements to find the signal. My methodology remains grounded in the realities of clinical science training.
