About Darcy
Graduating from the UC San Francisco School of Medicine gave me a strong foundation in the biological systems and concepts commonly tested on the MCAT. I use this knowledge to help students understand complex biology topics through clear explanations and practical connections.
Having taught 52 students, I specialize in photosynthesis, cellular respiration, the nervous system, human anatomy, and immunology fundamentals. I also help students develop a solid understanding of plant biology, homeostasis, and lab report writing through structured and focused lessons.
My goal is to help you connect these biological systems rather than simply memorize isolated facts. By understanding how these concepts work together, you can approach challenging MCAT questions with greater confidence and build a stronger foundation for your future in medicine.

Admittedly, the sheer amount of biology content can feel overwhelming at first. I make complex life science topics easier to understand by using clear explanations, relatable analogies, and logical connections. Whether we are studying cellular respiration, the immune system, or other challenging concepts, my goal is to help you understand and retain the material for the long term.
I also connect biological systems to real-world clinical scenarios whenever possible, making lessons more practical and engaging.
