About Tara
I have volunteered for more than 500 hours all around Stockton, with the majority of those hours helping out at elementary schools all around the city! Building close relationships in which students feel safe to not only learn, but also be able to talk to me about anything is very meaningful work for me. I like to arrange my lessons in a way that is suitable for each individual student's learning style, as every student learns differently! A typical lesson plan includes reviewing information in an interactive and fun fashion, so that the student feels valued and also feels that they have all the necessary capabilities to solve problem! Then, I usually go through example problems with the students step by step! Nonetheless, it is up to the student on how they would like to be tutored in a way that maximizes their learning potential!
