About Alhamzah
I graduated from Arizona State University this past December with a Bachelors of Science in Biology with a 4.0 GPA. As a result, I have taken multiple biology classes and possess a strong biology background. In addition, as a future medical school applicant, I have taken a wide range of science courses and non-science electives, providing me with a background in a variety of subjects, including but not limited to the sciences. As a recent graduate, I understand how overwhelming and demanding education may get for competitive students striving for the best grades. Therefore, I would love to pass on my knowledge and tips that helped me earn a 4.0 GPA. I believe that my input will not only provide the students with stronger content mastery but also a better work ethic and study habits in general.

I make sure that the student understands the material before I ask any questions over content not taught yet. One problem I struggled with my teachers throughout my education career is that they would ask questions before explaining the matter in attempt to get us engaged. However, recall isn't possible if the information is new. Therefore, I would make sure to explain the content fully to my students, and ask questions after specific parts to see if they have absorbed the material such as asking to summarize subtopics. At the end of the lesson, I will create a mini study guide with the help of the student so that the student gets to have assessable review. Weeks following each lesson, I will have the student perform repetitive recall by quizzing them over the lesson. Essentially, what sets me apart as a tutor is my organization in content delivery.
