About Sarah
I have a background in teaching assistantship at my alma mater, Evangel University, where I aided my physics, organic chemistry, nursing chemistry, and anatomy and physiology professors in-lab and in-class for two years. It is there I received a bachelor's degree and graduated with honors in biology and chemistry.
I was a full-time student-athlete but still received a scholar-athlete award each semester.
I did undergraduate research in organic chemistry, botany, and genetics as a part of the Sigma Zeta math and science honor society.
I have one year of full-time teaching experience, as well, teaching STEM for 7th-11th grade students.

Each lesson is a chance to engage your mind in meaningful learning. You are never too old or too young to learn something new. I love taking complex topics and showing you how to better understand not only for the present moment but for future application. Everyone learns differently and I am passionate about seeing how each individual is able to adapt to receiving new information. You can do anything you set your mind to and I strive to help teach you that mindset along with any topic you may need help with.
