About Tomas
I am a recent alum with a biology degree and archaeology minor. I taught and tutored students at the University of Nevada, Reno for two years in a variety of biological sciences, anywhere from introductory biology to animal physiology to molecular biochemistry. My students overall did very well with the instruction given, and several went on to become tutors themselves.

My teaching method is inspired by making important connections between the content at hand, and applying the material to relevant examples in the real world. I am a big fan of diagrams and drawing things out, as well as taking a step-by-step approach to difficult concepts to ensure full comprehension.
