About Grace
I completed a B.Sc in Life Sciences followed by an M.Sc in Human Biology, which allowed me to explore biology from cellular mechanisms to whole-body systems. Over 8 years of teaching experience, I have worked with diverse learners, helping them build confidence and structured understanding in biology. These years shaped my supportive and adaptable teaching approach. I value creating a learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions and explore ideas deeply. My teaching emphasises connection-building between topics so learners can see biology as a coherent system rather than isolated chapters. Outside teaching, I remain engaged with biology through scientific reading and exploration of current research. This continuous learning enriches my lessons. Teaching biology is meaningful to me because I help students develop curiosity, confidence, and scientific thinking that stays with them beyond the classroom.

My biology lessons aim to help students understand life as an interconnected system rather than separate topics. I cover areas such as cell biology, genetics, human physiology, plant systems, ecology, and evolution using structured explanations and relatable examples. Lessons are designed to promote understanding, curiosity, and long-term retention. Intermediate learners focus on system interactions, biological pathways, and interpretation of diagrams and data. Advanced learners refine exam writing, conceptual explanation, and analytical reasoning. I encourage students to explain ideas in their own words, strengthening understanding and confidence. Biology lessons also help students develop patience, observation, and scientific curiosity. Many learners gain appreciation for how biological systems function together. My goal is to help students feel confident exploring life sciences with clarity and interest.
