About Hannah
I am a biology student at the University of York; so far I have completed three years of my undergraduate degree, I am currently working on my fourth year to attain a masters in biology (MBiol). I have achieved a first every year, as well as getting involved in internships and research projects. Having completed my A levels recently, and achieving an A* in biology, I have an in-depth knowledge of the new AQA specification, but can offer tutoring for any exam board. As well as providing help with biology content, I can also provide advice about revision techniques, applying to university, and other aspects of studying and student life. I have some experience in tutoring, having tutored a fellow student in A level maths.

My lessons are aimed at A level students. I use a variety of approaches, tailoring my lessons to the needs and learning techniques of each student. In particular, I use a combination of diagrams and questions to help the student to really understand each topic in depth, rather than simply trying to memorise the content. I work with the student to identify which areas they are least confident with, and focusing on these, as well as working on exam techniques. I am incredibly passionate about biology, and I try to instill some of this passion into the student, giving them a real desire to achieve.
