About Victoria
I am a current PhD candidate conducting research on fungal pathogens of wheat at the University of Exeter and Rothamsted Research. I have just completed an Msci in Biological Sciences from the University of Bristol which has given me a substantial grounding in a wide breadth of Biology and advanced level statistics. As an undergraduate student, I was selected to become a 'PASS' (Peer Assisted Support Session) leader, running weekly support groups for ~20 students at a time. My role centred around students developing and utilising 'toolkits' (known material) in which to solve problems and explore new research, prompting academic discussion. Since graduating, I have undertaken Open University courses on Science communication, promotion and accessibility.

My teaching style is based around developing a 'toolkit' of approaches to tackle hard or unfamiliar material. This will be developed over time to create a set of core skills which will be applied to material in different formats within your specific curriculum. Every student is different and so my teaching style will adapt to keep you engaged as well as challenged, to help to realise your best potential both in Maths and in life.

Victoria guided me through secondary triple science and helped to consolidate core elements of the curriculum and achieve all A*s! She was attentive and extremely encouraging throughout.
Victoria was my PASS leader when I was in my second year doing Zoology at the University of Bristol. She was so helpful and honest, and never made any question seem stupid, but instead spun it around so it became interesting and fun! She was always prepared and you can see how much she loves teaching.
