About Leena
I am currently a PhD student studying cardiovascular disease, with previous degrees in Human Molecular Genetics and Human Biosciences from Imperial College London and University of Northampton. I have decided to become a tutor to help individuals understand Biology as I have a broad understanding of a range of biological areas. I have also worked as a Research Assistant at UCL, so I understand the practical applications of science in real life context.

I provide lessons for GCSE, A-level and degree level Biology and other biological areas such as Genetics. My lessons are 1 hour sessions, with a breakdown of key points and interactive questions and tasks to keep you engaged. I am also happy to share revision notes or slides which can help your revision methods when it comes to exams or essays. My main aim of tutoring is to build your confidence and provide information in a way that is easy to access and easy to remember. Learning a huge amount of new information is always difficult, and having been through the challenges of education personally, I am keen to help make this process as fun and easy as possible, without stress and anxiety!
