I use the socratic method to stimulate interest and determine prior knowledge about a subject. I use visual aids prolifically with case studies to illustrate my instruction. I try to stimulate curiosity and and enquiring mind in my students. The use of the scientific method is a core.
I have been teaching biology, marine biology, environmental science and chemistry to college and high school students for some 40 years. Some of my students have progressed to graduate schools in science. I have also been grading AP environmental exams for 10 years.
Travel rates will vary with distance. A cancellation fee of 15 dollars will be charged unless 48 hours notice is given.
