About Allison
I have over 10+ years of tutoring within the Ontario school system and with various grades. Having two bachelor degrees in biology and public health, and currently working on a masters, I understand how to make information digestible for my students. Aside for my love of tutoring, I also love gaming and baking in my spare time, or going on hikes with my cat (yes, he loves going on his leash).

Through my experiencing tutoring over 10 years, I break down concepts into bite size pieces for my students to follow. A typical lesson plan includes a quick recap of of our previous lesson, covering any outstanding questions and then learning the new material through interactive activity and questions. I ask that students send me the material they wish to learn at least 2 days prior to our lesson so I can create a comprehensive guide for them to keep. Lessons last at least a hour, as longer if needed. Lessons are for grades 1-10 for math, science, history, geography and English. Biology, chemistry, English and history lessons available for grades 11-12. Biology lessons and biostatistics available for first and second year university students.
