About Upasana

I am a PhD student at SASTRA University, in the field of life sciences with neurobiology as my specialization. I have done my B. Tech in genetic engineering from SRM Institute of Science and Technology. My core subjects include neuroscience, physiology, genetics and basic biology concepts.

About the lesson

I believe in toning down any concept to the students' level. I first try to see what is the students' perspective on the topic and how much they understand from it and then I go on to their convenience of learning methods. I am comfortable teaching any topic up to the details and depths as desired by the students so that learning becomes interesting rather than a burden. I highly believe in personalized education and hence my way of teaching will vary from students to students. I can take audio/video classes, prepare reading materials, PPT, and even pre recorded lectures if there is any inconvenience in adjusting time. At the end of the day I consider it's my responsibility to ensure the student has understood the concept.
