About Jon
Enzymes and metabolism, mitosis and meiosis, cell biology, DNA and RNA structure, data analysis and graphs, the circulatory system, food webs and energy flow, human anatomy, plant biology are my core focus areas. I visualize the sharp lines of a microscope slide showing distinct cell division patterns during my 13 years of tutoring. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry plus a Massachusetts state teaching license.
My students transition from B and C grades to A marks and score 5 on AP exams. I enjoy seeing the moment a difficult concept clicks for a student after 8 years of classroom instruction.
