As a student, I understand and appreciate different learning styles, and as a tutor, I ensure my students learn in the best way for them, accommodating to their unique and personal learning styles. I have a flexible schedule and am able to cater to each student's specific needs.
I'm in my first year at Boston University studying Biology and Classical Civilizations on the Pre-Med track. Throughout high school I tutored students in Algebra I and II, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, United States History and Government, English (Grammar and Writing), Latin I-IV, Biology, and Chemistry. I also worked in after-school care for grades Pre-K through 8th grade, helping them with homework and overseeing other activities. As a student, I understand and appreciate different learning styles, and as a tutor, I ensure my students learn in the best way for them, accommodating to their unique and personal learning styles. A bit more about myself: I grew up around the Baltimore area in Maryland, and I've always had a passion for learning! My favorite subject is science, and I have completed published research in the field of microbiology and earned a 5 on the AP Bio exam. Some of my other hobbies include swimming and watching Star Wars! Thanks for reading, I hope I'll get the chance to share my passion for learning with you in the future!
