About Asher
I am a community college student exploring which Biology degree I would like to pursue. I am interested in biology, marine biology, and environmentalism.
I have experience helping my peers throughout grade school and in college, and occasionally helping younger students. I have provided assistance in a variety of subjects, although I am most familiar with biology, English, and linguistics.
I have learned how to express ideas in a variety of ways and I am patient when a student is missing foundational knowledge. I especially try to uplift students who struggle to understand the criteria and intention of assignments.

My tutoring sessions will not be identical as each student has different needs.
I will asses the topic the student is struggling with and what educational materials have been provided by their teacher. My goal is to identify gaps to bridge and focus on where the student is struggling.
I want the student to feel more comfortable and confident in their biology skills after our session. Students should be able to integrate new knowledge into their greater understanding of how organisms work.
