About Arushi
Recent graduate from Rutgers University in Biology with a strong academic background in math and science. I previously worked as a Learning Assistant for college-level Calculus I, where I helped students understand difficult concepts, work through problems, and prepare for exams. My experience working with students has taught me to be patient, encouraging, and adaptable to different learning styles. I strive to create a comfortable environment where students feel confident asking questions and improving their math skills.

I focus on making math feel simple and approachable by breaking problems down step-by-step rather than just giving students the answer. I adjust my teaching style based on each student's strengths and areas of difficulty, using practice problems and different explanations until the concepts click. Having tutored Calculus I at the college level, I have experience helping students work through challenging concepts and build confidence in their abilities. My lessons are ideal for middle and high school students seeking help with algebra, geometry, and general math.
