About Wes
My interest in Biology developed from a fascination with the diversity and complexity of life. I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences and later completed a PhD in Biological Sciences. Over the last 10 years, I have guided students through a wide range of biological topics with patience and enthusiasm.
I believe learning is most effective when students feel supported and encouraged. My teaching style emphasises clear communication, adaptability, and creating lessons that suit each learner's strengths. Building confidence is an important part of my work as an educator.
Outside education, I enjoy exploring environmental studies, genetics research, and developments in healthcare. These interests allow me to bring current scientific examples into lessons. Seeing students grow into confident and capable learners continues to motivate me every day.

My Biology lessons help students understand the living world through structured learning and meaningful connections between concepts. We explore topics including genetics, cell biology, ecology, human anatomy, evolution, and physiology. I focus on helping learners understand processes and relationships rather than relying only on memorisation.
Lessons are tailored to individual learning needs and goals. Through visual resources, discussions, practice questions, and real-life examples, students strengthen both scientific knowledge and analytical thinking skills. Each lesson is designed to make complex topics easier to understand and remember.
I aim to create a supportive learning experience that encourages curiosity and active participation. As students build confidence, they become more comfortable interpreting biological information and solving scientific questions independently. My goal is to help learners achieve lasting success in Biology.
