Teaching biology is my way of demystifying the life sciences for those who find the curriculum overwhelming. I sat in a lecture hall for the first time as a freshman and felt the exact confusion that many students describe during our first session. Since then, I have spent 4 years helping 94 students simplify concepts like homeostasis and evolution.
My current status as an MD/PhD candidate at the Perelman School of Medicine keeps my knowledge of cell biology, microbiology, and molecular biology sharp.
