About Aurora
I completed my Bachelor’s in Biological Sciences from the University of Louisville, where I volunteered in student science outreach, designed simplified learning materials for younger students, and trained in lab skills that I now translate into easy explanations for beginners. I have 7 years of tutoring experience, with 5 years dedicated to online sessions across K–12 and early college levels. Students love my relatable teaching style, my ability to simplify complex biological systems, and my habit of celebrating small victories during lessons. Parents appreciate that I help their children develop curiosity and emotional confidence, not just grades. I create a classroom atmosphere where mistakes are allowed, questions are encouraged, and learning flows naturally from conversation and discovery.

Biology becomes meaningful when students see it as a story of how life organizes itself. In Microbiology, I introduce them to invisible ecosystems; in Cell Biology, I guide them through structures that keep organisms alive; in Physiology, we explore the cooperation of organs; in Genetics, we understand how traits and patterns are passed down; and in Biotechnology, we look at modern science shaping our world.
I teach gently, weaving everyday experiences into each lesson — breathing after exercise, energy from food, healing from a cut, plant growth in sunlight. This approach helps students create mental connections, which prepares them beautifully for freshman-level biology, where comprehension matters more than memorizing diagrams.
