About Julia
I finished my bachelor's degree in microbiology last summer and did a research internship in microbiology, genetics and molecular biology this academic year. In my school days biology was one of my major courses, so I dealt very intensively with the discussed materials.

I customize my teaching style. First, I discuss with my students their strengths and weaknesses, so that I can adjust my teaching style for them to be comfortable but also to focus on working on the yet lacking and necessary skills. That includes checking the individual background knowledge in order to determine gaps in knowledge and determine in which areas the subject matter can be already discussed in more detail. This forms a good basis for later task solving and test simulation. Also I want my students to have a clear and long-term understanding and knowlegde therefore I appreciate feedback of any kind.
