As a biology undergraduate in my last year of college, I have learned that the two most important skills necessary to be successful in a biology classroom are good notetaking and studying techniques. Many students in traditional high school and middle school classrooms do not receive proper instructions on how do refine these skills and become better students. Biology is a subject that requires memorizing a lot of material, so along with covering new information, I always set aside time during sessions to review and drive home important information.
