About Kala
I value patience and reassuring students that they are more than capable of learning. Sometimes, it just takes a couple more tries, or honestly, it's about showing them how to use their TI-83 or 84 calculators properly.

About the lesson

My lessons begin with a refresher (aka DO NOW), followed by a live model and a stamp question to ensure chemists grasp the lesson concept. From there, it's a brief independent practice that allows me to see where chemists are in their understanding. From there, I can address any misconceptions.
My lessons are tailored for high school chemistry students who may struggle with stochiometry and other fundamental concepts.
