About Andrea
I am passionate about teaching because I genuinely believe that education can change people’s lives, and I’ve experienced that transformation firsthand throughout my journey in biomedical engineering, robotics, leadership, and data science. Over the years, I’ve led teams, built technical projects, mentored students, and collaborated on international programmes that gave me experiences that taught me how powerful clear guidance, patience, and structured learning can be. What makes me a great tutor is my ability to simplify complex ideas without losing depth, connect theory with real-world applications, and adapt my explanations to each student’s pace and learning style. I combine strong technical expertise with empathy, discipline, and a natural talent for communication. My multicultural background, academic excellence, and hands-on project experience allow me to support students academically, and also in building confidence, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Teaching is not just something I do, it’s something I truly care about, and my goal is always to help students feel capable, motivated, and proud of their progress.

Whether you need support in physics, chemistry, engineering concepts, or want to strengthen your Spanish, I focus on making every lesson intuitive, practical, and tailored to your pace. In the sciences, I break down complex ideas into simple, logical explanations that help you truly understand how formulae and real-world applications connect. In Spanish, I guide you towards natural communication by simplifying grammar and building confidence through clear, meaningful practice. Across both areas, my goal is to help you memorise information and truly understand it, think independently, and feel comfortable with the material. Students consistently walk away from my sessions feeling more confident, supported, and capable, ready to apply what they’ve learned in class, in conversation, and beyond.
