About Makinah
Hi everyone! I'm currently a medical student with an intercalated degree in Biomedical Engineering. I've sat multiple exams over the past few years and have developed and refined my skills in tackling and organising my study schedule. Throughout this time I've tried and tested multiple revision techniques and methods in order to find what suits me. I'm really excited at the opportunity to share this knowledge with my future students to find out which methods are best suited towards you to help you realise and fulfil your true potential.

Hi! I'm Makinah and I'm currently an incoming 4th Year Medical Student at King's College London. During 2020-2021, I intercalated in Medical Sciences with Biomedical Engineering at Imperial College London BSc ACGI. I'm an award-winning medical student with significant experience and passion within education. I specialise in tutoring GCSE and A Level Biology, Chemistry and Maths. My lessons usually last 45-60 min and are aimed at all ages, including people resitting qualifications. My experiences range from undertaking a Medics.Academy Medical Education and Technology Fellowship to developing surgery-based multiple choice questions for a national committee. I'm committed to finding and developing methods to overcome any obstacles students may face regarding their upcoming exams. From developing study schedules to practising exam technique via past papers, I'm very enthusiastic about helping students along their education journey. I also believe in a mindfulness-based approach that involves techniques to manage anxiety and procrastination concerning exams and revision.
