About Bintia
Hi! I am a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis with a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering. For 3 years, I worked as an Intro Chemistry Tutor and Mentor for freshman students. If you have any general questions about college, academics, or adjusting to university life, I would be happy to help!
A little about me: I am a 21-year-old female, originally from Brooklyn, NY. I love writing poetry, scrapbooking, and going on runs. I will be pursuing a master's degree in Prosthetics & Orthotics this fall, so feel free to ask me any questions about graduate school as well!
I offer reduced rates for first-generation and/or low-income students! I was FGLI during my undergraduate years, so I understand the challenges. If this applies to you, feel free to message me before booking so we can discuss a rate that works for you!

My teaching approach is personalized and dependent on what you want to learn. Before each weekly lesson, I send a Google Form where you can share the topics you want to cover, ask specific questions, and upload any confusing homework assignments or projects. This allows me to prepare example problems tailored to the lesson.
Each session begins by addressing your initial questions, then working through your submitted assignments together. If time allows, we will do additional practice problems to reinforce the concepts and build your confidence.
My lessons are for students who need extra help in Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology, typically high school through college-level. If you have any questions or want to see what courses I completed in college, feel free to reach out to me! :)
