About Clementina
Hi, I’m Clementina! I’m currently pursuing my Master’s in Bioengineering at Northeastern University (GPA: 3.8) after graduating cum laude with Honors in Biomedical Engineering from FSU. I have a strong academic foundation in math, science, and engineering, along with hands-on experience applying these concepts through research and internships in medical device development.
I’m known for being reliable, organized, and approachable. My experience working with students, as a camp counselor and music director, has helped me develop patience, adaptability, and strong communication skills. I take pride in creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence.
My goal is to help students not only improve their grades, but also truly understand the material and feel more confident in their abilities over time.

As a tutor, I focus on building strong foundations while helping students develop confidence and independence in their learning. My teaching approach is structured but flexible, and I adapt to each student’s pace and learning style. I emphasize breaking down complex concepts into simple, step-by-step explanations and encourage students to actively engage with the material rather than just memorize it.
A typical lesson starts with a quick review of previous material, followed by working through key concepts together, and then guided practice where the student applies what they’ve learned. I prioritize making sure students understand the “why” behind each concept, not just how to get the answer.
What sets me apart is my ability to connect real-world applications from engineering and science to academic topics, which helps make lessons more engaging and meaningful. My experience working with students in both academic and mentorship settings has made me patient, adaptable, and supportive.
My lessons are best suited for middle school, high school, and early college students taking math (Pre-Algebra through Calculus), science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics), and introductory engineering courses, as well as students preparing for standardized tests like the SAT or ACT.
