About Annette
I'm a recent college graduate who majored in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Maryland. I grew up loving science and mathematics. I was involved in Math Counts and other math competitions throughout elementary and middle school. I also part took in Science Olympiad science competitions in high school and wrote exam questions for the program in college. I have taken many STEM courses from the most basic levels to higher level bioengineering specific courses such as Cardiovascular engineering and Microbiology. I also have experience working in college level laboratories for chemistry, biology, and physics, as well as a graduate level microbiology lab.

I have been a part time math, biology, chemistry, and physics tutor for 5 years. I have taught high school and college level courses, as well as test prep for placement and regular exams. As a biomedical engineering graduate I have experience in various specific courses in math, from Algebra through Calculus 3 and Differential Equations, and biology including Microbiology and Genetics. I have experience in other STEM courses including Physics, Chemistry, Mechanics, and engineering courses. A typical lesson begins with an overview of the topic, followed by a discussion of the student's understanding, detailed problem solving methods, and ends with a question and answer session.
