I have taken advanced algebra, geometry, and pre-calc in high school, and I have completed the Calculus sequence 1-4 in college; with A's and high B's in all classes. But I am definitely more knowledgeable and comfortable now years after!

My teaching approach is to gauge what works best for the student and provide explanations and techniques through an approach and problem solving process that is relatable and comfortable for them. I typically explain things in terms of why you want to do them and why "this" way to do them is the most appropriate, easy, and useful in my experience; although probably not the only one and if you have a hunch about something else we can discuss it.
