Biomedical engineering student offering biology and chemistry lessons in Folsom to middle/high school
Methodology
I give 1-on-1 lessons to middle and high school students who would like to expand on their knowledge of chemistry and biology. My approach involves reviewing the conceptual material associated with topics in either of these subjects where the student is struggling, then moving on to guided practice with test questions/problems that exercise and build upon that conceptual understanding.
Background
I am currently pursuing my BS in Biomedical Engineering at the University of California, Davis. My current courseload is focused on biology and higher-level chemistry, and I have prior experience with AP Biology from high school. I am also a member of multiple student organizations and volunteer opportunities, including Engineers Without Borders and the Society of Women Engineers, and I have participated in hackathons as well as the Biomedical Engineering Society Make-a-Thon at UC Davis.
