About Pelumi

I am patient, organised and supportive, and I understand that every student learns differently. My aim is to create a calm and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence. I am particularly passionate about helping students overcome anxiety around Maths and Science and realise their full potential.

About the lesson

I offer structured and supportive lessons in Primary and GCSE Maths, as well as GCSE Biology, tailored to each student’s individual needs. As a Biomedical Science graduate and current Medical Writer, I am experienced in explaining complex ideas clearly and helping students build strong foundational understanding.

For primary students, I focus on strengthening core numeracy skills, problem-solving ability, and building confidence in a calm and encouraging environment. For GCSE students, lessons are exam-focused, incorporating past paper practice, exam technique, and targeted revision of weaker topics.

Lessons are typically 60 minutes long and delivered online. I adapt my teaching style depending on age and ability, ensuring each student feels supported and motivated to improve.

My aim is not only to improve grades, but also to build long-term confidence and independent learning skills.
