Hi, I'm Emily, a mature biomedical science graduate, passionate about all things medical.
From first hand experience I know how hard it can be to get the most out of your learning when in a room full of distractions and not enough attention to your individual needs. This kick-started my passion for teaching!

Lessons are 60 minutes long following a standard plan as below:
- 5 mins intro and lesson overview including aims and outcomes (ie "by the end of the lesson you should be able to...")
- 40 mins teaching main content.
- 15 mins quiz and worked examples to test and reinforce understanding. These will be tailored to the level at which you are working and similar to exams you will be taking (ie GCSE, A-Levels).
The lessons I provide are fun and informative. While getting through the content is important, students are encouraged to ask questions throughout the teaching- please don't be afraid to interrupt if there's something you don't understand!
While this is a general guide of how the lesson will look, lessons can of course be tailored to suit your needs with the format and content tweaked and changed as needed- your needs come first.
