About Nike
As someone who has been working with young children and adults in education for over 4 years with experience in secondary school settings and experience lecturing in further & higher education, I feel I would be well-suited for this role. When teaching, I decided to take a different approach/ strategy and attempted to connect with the students and gain a deeper understanding of their behaviour and how they learn. I found that this led to many positive student outcomes, such as demotivated students changing their view on my subject and seeking me for help in catching up. A key part of my career is helping students reach their potential, which I work towards by focusing on student learning styles, motivation and engagement when teaching. By doing this I learnt that I have a skill in fostering strong positive relationships with my students and realised have the opportunity to use my empathy for good both inside and outside of the classroom.

Perfect! I'm very pleased with Nike's teaching, she thoroughly explains the topics to my son and gives exam questions every week. She is very patient and my son enjoys having lessons with her.
