About Taliha
Hi, I am a medical student at University of Nottingham, with biomedical science (BSc Hons) degree. I completed my A levels from a grammar school. Biology and chemistry has always been my strength and is a big part of both of my degrees. I have over 2 years of private tutoring experience in sciences, as well as helping aspiring medics to get into medical schools. Teaching is something I have always enjoyed and feel that I can really connect with students as I was in their shoes one time.

I have been tutoring KS3, GCSE, and A level students for over 2 years now, with high success rate. I adapt my teaching techniques to the students needs and take the right approach for the individual. In the first few lessons, I make sure I know what topics the student needs me to cover and I plan the tutoring sessions with my students accordingly to make sure we get the most out of the lessons. My methodology consists of understanding the topic first, then using different learning techniques to remember the topic such as flash cards, mind maps, posters- whatever the student prefers. Lastly, I tend to give quizzes and past paper questions on the topic to make sure they are able to apply the knowledge and are well prepped for exams.

GCSE student is £30 per hour but A level student is £40per hour. Cancellation fee is half of the hourly rate.
