About Ilanga
I have always had a passion for tutoring and helping people achieve their goals.
I was inspired to tutor through my own tutee journey because schools do not have enough time or facilities to address the main issues around a scoring high in exams - which are repetitive practicing and serious time management. I found that it was difficult to voice my concerns during lesson which in turn resulted in teaching myself majority of the content.
However, with changes to my studying style and the help of a tutor I was able to exceed my predicted grades.

In the one hour lesson we will be going over the content, practicing exam style questions and addressing any and all concerns. I encourage students to voice their difficulties during the lesson and plan lessons around what they find the most difficult.
I provide extensive homework to tackle all doubts and address time management across all major exam boards. I believe the more you practice the easier the work will become.
I have tutored for over 10 years with all my students exceeding their predicted grades set by the school which has allowed them to make positive changes to their sixth form/ university choices.
