About Bishoy
I have always been fascinated by how things work, including the hidden processes that dictate how natural systems function. This personal quest to learn more about the universe led me to pursue an education focused on science. In high school, I followed the IGCSE syllabus, with A-Level Biology my favourite subject. I fell in love with biology from the start, captivated by the detailed functioning of biological processes, down to the level of millions of proteins receiving biochemical signals at the right place and time amid apparent chaos.
After high school, I enrolled as an undergraduate on the Biomedical Science program at Zewail City of Science and Technology. I specialized in Molecular Biology, increasingly learning how knowledge of chemistry underpins and deepens one’s understanding of biology. I am currently considering my options for PhD studies, either in Epigenetics or Molecular Biophysics.
I enjoy tutoring both Biology and Chemistry, seeking to help my students grasp these complex subjects, a task that I find challenging and rewarding. After all, it was Albert Einstein who said: “If you can't explain it simply, you don't understand it well enough.” I have been teaching Biology and Chemistry for over 4 years now and my students get the highest grades.

I like to use visuals and demonstrations to deliver difficult concepts, while I favour inventive ways of memorizing important information, such as biochemical processes. I feel it’s important to enjoy learning for the sake of it, nurturing one’s curiosity, rather than being focused entirely on grades. However, I know how important grades are, that's why I focus on solving as much practice questions as we can to be ready for the exams.
