About Namra
Hi there!
My name is Namra, I am a Biomedical Science graduate with over 2 years of experience teaching GCSE and KS3 Science/Maths.
Presently, teaching several KS3 & KS4 students online and in my local area. I cover exam boards, AQA, WJCE, & Edexcel.
My friendly, enthusiastic, and calm nature has enabled me to build a strong connection with the students.
I have had a wonderful opportunity of teaching students of different ages and levels.
I believe my passion and interest in science is conveyed to my students. I like to get to know my students well so that I can get on with them and build a good rapport with them, which makes learning a positive experience for them.
Lastly, the reason I have gone into teaching is to make learning Science fun, easy and enjoyable for students.
I believe one to one tutoring is very important to help students grasp the ever-changing, progressively challenging academic work they are set.

Initially, my lessons begin with an evaluation of the student levels, to tailor the sessions to their and the parent’s needs, to help them to achieve their goal.
I have experience in working with the revision of past papers GCSE & KS3, helping students to get used to answering exam questions. Identifying the key areas where there answers might be lacking, and the keywords they need to mention to get the top marks.
To make lessons easier to take in and enjoyable for students from all different backgrounds I try to use different methods such as flashcards, Kahoot, and draw diagrams on the board.
