My Name is Jemma (pronouns she/her). I have a strong background in the sciences and humanities holding a B.S. in Biomedical Sciences and a M.S. in Narrative Medicine. I aim to make complex concepts intuitive and make an effort to tailor tutoring sessions to the needs of my tutees.

I specialize in high school and college level pre med courses such as: physics, genetics, biology, biochem, chemistry, and anatomy/physiology. Furthermore I also have a strong suit in college and high school reading comprehension and writing composition including SAT prep. Furthermore, I am a fluent Spanish speaker and offer tutoring in highschool and college level spanish courses. In my tutoring sessions I have a problem-based learning approach with a focus on high yield material.
