About Marika
Hi, I'm Marika, a biomedical sciences student at university. During my last years of school 1-to-1 teaching was so valuable for me! I noticed that topics my teacher had spent a whole hour on, I could learn in 20 mins because it was focused on my gaps in knowledge and built on my individual skills. I would love to help others see those improvements for themselves and make school a little less stressful.

I will make sure to personalise your lessons to your specific goals and I am able to formulate a teaching plan so we have an end goal of where you would like your knowledge to be at! Depending on the subject/level the sessions may be structured differently however I like to follow the following structure: In the first 20-30 mins of the session I’d like to outline the topic and the main points and form an overall understanding in summary of the topic. In the last 30 minutes I would like to move on to exam questions as they are one of the best ways to learn! However the most important thing is You! so if u have a specific way of learning that helps the most I can adapt to your style.
