About Abi
Hello! My name is Abi and I am a recent graduate of the Bachelor of Biomedicine at the University of Melbourne. I am a lover of learning and supporting others, hence I have found myself loving tutoring Secondary school students. I have been tutoring privately for the last 3 years after being part of tutoring and mentoring programs during my own schooling. I love helping my students gain clarity in their Math subjects as I believe it can provide a great confidence boost not only in the classroom, but beyond!

5+ Years experience tutoring, offering hour-long online Zoom classes. Flexibility across days of the week and offering weekend classes. My tutoring approach involves student-directed learning, where students utilize our time together to tackle difficult areas of study. I ensure that students are then able to "teach back" to consolidate learning. I provide the opportunity for students to be "taught ahead" of their expected level, to ensure familiarity with difficult concepts in the topics and years ahead of their schooling. I know my students leave my classes feeling more confident and more likely to enjoy their Math subjects :)
