About Sarah

Hi, I'm Sarah. I am a scientist with a PhD in molecular genetics and I have been working in the Biotech startup space for a number of years. I have gained a lot of experience over my time as a scientist about what employers look for in potential candidates. I have been the hiring manager for roles as junior as research technician and as senior as research and senior research scientist roles. I have reviewed at least 300 resumes and cover letters for science roles. I have seen too many science graduates struggle with resumes, cover letters and interviews to sit by and not share what I know. There is a desperate need for the skill sets science graduates have and I want to help you share that skill set with employers. If you are as lost as I was when I first started to consider a role in the Biotech or Biomed industry, then I am here to help you figure out where to start. I look forward to giving you the support I really wish I had when I was in your position.
