About Alexis
Starting as a babysitter, I have been working with kids and their homework since I was able to. Eventually, I started teaching summer school classes for friends and family, where I learned how to design individual lesson plans for each student. Today, I tutor professionally for all ages, primarily in math and science. I'm currently pursuing a degree in Biotechnology, and have a huge passion for education!

I have been teaching for about six years now, from elementary to high school, and have developed a passion for finding light bulb moments. We work together to determine how you learn and understand the material, rather than just memorizing it. Once I get a feel for that, I design activities and verbiage that best click for you. There's no such thing as a bad question, and we can take as much time as you need to feel confident and ready!
