About Shabnam

I hold a bachelors degree in Biotechnology and have worked in the profession for 3 years on various projects. After that, I went onto pursue Master's in Business Administration and have 4 years of experience as a management professional.
I enjoyed science(biology to be particular) since my school days and always ended up teaching my friends night before the exam. That was when i realized my interest towards teaching. I have been tutoring and training for over 5 years now. During my college days i used to tutor school students. I am a trained soft skills and personality development coach as well. I have thoroughly enjoyed this journey as well as working and interacting with students of different age groups and backgrounds.

About the lesson

Generally I derive my teaching methodology from the student's needs and style. Every student is different and they learn at a varying pace. Before starting off with the lessons I first interact with the student and the parents to understand their expectations and needs. After that, in the first 2 classes i try to gather knowledge about the student's level of understanding of the subject and then i design the monthly curriculum based on that. I regularly interact with students and their parents to map their progress and to identify areas of improvement.

For students up to Grade 8 - £8/hour
For students of Grade 9 and above - £10/hour
Cancellation charges - No fees will be charged for sessions cancelled more than 24 hours before the session.For cancellations less than 24 hours before the session, 50% of the session fee will be charged.
