About Blessing
I am Blessing Ingyape, an internationally certified special needs teacher and Dyslexia coach; founder, Dyslexia Help Africa, currently living in the city of Abuja. I am a registered Nigerian teacher. My certification covers the 13 disabilities mentioned in the IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act) but my passion lies with kids with specific learning difficulties. Over the years I have recorded amazing progress working with these kids. I am also certified by the IBCCES (International Board for Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards.) This certification gives me the leverage to offer intervention services to children with special needs wherever I am... in any part of the world. Currently, I'm running a dyslexia course with University College London. I am also proudly a scholarship beneficiary of the LDA (Learning Disability Association of America) 55th annual conference. There are no limits, I believe every child can learn.

I adopt the multisensory student-centered teaching method (Nessy reading program), which has been proven to be beneficial to children with learning issues. The curriculum, activities, and teaching resources I use are all tailored towards meeting the needs of an individual child.

Blessing is passionate about what she does, and she's is also dedicated. She can go to any length just to ensure that a student learns. I admire her compassion for children with dyslexia and that is what makes her to put in her best at all times.
In 2017, I had the honor of having a dyslexic child in my class.
At first I was frustrated. Then my frustrations turned to anger turned to curiosity.
What would make a seven year old in a class full of four and five year olds not be able to learn the basic things these four year olds can recite in their dreams??
So I was introduced to Blessing Ingyape by my boss The Teacher's Coach. And what amazing progress we made!
A boy who was given up on by his previous school and whose mother was asked to seek alternative means to educate him, at the end of the session came out with an average of 96.5!
That child is now in grade two and doing so well, the last time his teacher asked me to help her conduct exams in her class, this boy was spewing out answers like he had a magic wand and solving problems like it was no body's business.
I am happy to be a product of the Dyslexia Coach!
Thank you ma'am.
( The stories are plenty but I can only share one!)Ms Blessing is so good at what she does. A special needs child was brought to me and we placed him in a regular class. He did OK socially but as he grew older we saw the serious gap between him and the rest of his classmates. He was years behind. That's when we brought Ms Blessing in.
She is detailed, organized and thorough. You should see the lessons she had planned, the goals and objectives and timelines as well as the feedback and reporting systems for this one child. It was totally professional and guess what? It worked and is still working. You should give her a try and thank me later.
James was almost not verbal and now he says almost anything. He is confident and fun to be with. He is getting along so well in school and constantly making progress. His mum is so happy because she got trained by Ms. Blessing and knows exactly what to do to support her child's learning while at home. She is doing a great job with my daughter.
