About Stella
Neon tubes hum inside my Chicago studio where I have spent 9 years helping guitarists find their sound. Berklee training provided the foundation for my approach which centers on learning songs first to understand why they actually work. Developing electric and acoustic technique remains a priority during our time together.
My method covers blues progressions, fingerpicking, and reading tabs to ensure you gain total control over your fretboard. You will move through lead guitar concepts and sheet music reading while focusing on the styles of Hendrix and Mayer.

Starting with pentatonic shapes before touching a theory book helps students connect with their instrument immediately. Frankly, the complex rules of music often get in the way of the actual feeling when you are just beginning to play.
These 8 years of teaching have taught me that playing comes before analyzing. Free chord charts and tab sheets are shared after each class to keep your progress moving steadily.
You will build the technique to play cleanly while exploring the sounds that originally inspired you to pick up the guitar. My focus remains on modern styles and classic blues rhythms to guide your hands. Your journey toward playing your favorite songs starts the moment we plug in and play.
